The mission of the Jackson Housing Commission (JHC) is to assist low income families in securing safe, decent and affordable housing; create opportunities for resident and participant families to achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence; and assure fiscal and program integrity by all program participants.

FY 2014 Proposed Annual Plan Changes
The Jackson Housing Commission (JHC) will release for a 45 days public comment period significant amendments to its Capital Statement/Annual Plan; Admissions and Continued Occupancy Plan (ACOP); Lease; Work Order Charges; and the Tenant Handbook on August 22, 2014.
All documents and the summary of proposed changes will be available for public inspection during normal business hours (Monday-Friday 7:30 AM-4:00 PM) at 303 Stewart Ave Jackson, MI 49201 and the Chalet Terrance office at 316 Barberry Jackson, MI 49203. JHC request written comments no later than Friday, October 10, 2014 by close of business to the addresses above or by e-mail to email@example.com.
A meeting will be conducted on September the 11, 2014 during the Resident Council meeting for Reed Manor at 7:00 PM regarding the proposed changes. On September 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM the JHC Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 303 Stewart Ave Jackson, MI 49201 to receive public comments.
