The mission of the Jackson Housing Commission (JHC) is to assist low income families in securing safe, decent and affordable housing; create opportunities for resident and participant families to achieve self-sufficiency and economic independence; and assure fiscal and program integrity by all program participants.

Jackson Housing Commission (JHC) is mandated by the Department of Housing and
Urban Development (HUD) to give residents a forty-five (45) day period to
review the proposed changes to the Admission Continued Occupancy Policy (ACOP)
and submit comments regarding the changes. To review the proposed changes you may select ACOP Change Summary May 2016 or call (517)787-9241 ext. to receive a copy. You may
